Mainly composed of red wines, the vineyard is only Pinot Noir , worked in the respect and tradition , through a reasoned culture ; the aging of our wines is made in oak barrels for 10 months. The fame of this name is more to do ; it is known even on the moon! (deposition of a bottle of Night Saint Georges on the moon during the Apollo 15 mission). Among the anecdotes in our town, we like to say : " A glass of Nights preparing yours " .

Chambolle Musigny

Only product in red wine and grape Pinot Noir, Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru "Les Baudes" wine is dry.
Located on the Route des Grands Crus, it is introduced as one of the most "feminine" wines of the Côte de Nuits, share the intensity and finesse express themselves, punctuated by an elegant subtlety.
 


Under a bright ruby”‹”‹, very colorful, with powerful aromas and intense flavors reminiscent among other blackcurrant, cherry, strawberry, sous bois, power and finesse of this wine support a kitchen with sophisticated and tasty meats like fowl, beef bourguignon, a rabbit stew or coq au vin.
Prefer hard cheeses such as may chaource, Vacherin or Brillat Savarin.

Hautes Côtes de Nuits

Chambolle Musigny

The appellation covers four towns in the Côte de Nuits, the vineyard is "perched" at 300/400 m. This designation is awarded at the end of a licensing exam (sampling and analysis).

 

The red wines are made from Pinot Noir.

 

The exposure of the vineyard is located on the heights of Nuits St Georges in the mountains on a calcareous clay soil, fruity and well-structured robust demand for their aging potential.

 

Wines will accompany with lamb or duck, wines 2 or 3 years stay fresh and fruity with a viandegrillée is advised not too strong cheese, Reblochon, Morbier.

 

Nuits Saint Georges

Chambolle Musigny

The vineyard is divided into two parts, one on Vosne-Romanée, the other stretching southward. The name has an AOC since 1936.

The largest part of the production comes from the Pinot noir (red wine).

For the record, this is on the land that was founded in 1934 the "Confrérie des Chevaliers du Tastevin".

 

The calcareous soil and lots of silt gives a full-bodied character and long on the palate with aromas of cherry, strawberry, blackcurrant or leather, truffle, following exposure.

Prefer for game animals, a duck or roasted meats, cheese, it matches perfectly with Epoisse.

 

Vosne Romanée

Vosne Romanée

The Vosne-Romanée are presented exclusively red wines from the Pinot Noir.

 

With its limestone soil and ruddy wine, ranging from ruby to black tulip highlight the flavors of strawberry, raspberry, blueberry and cassis.

With age it evolves into cherry, leather or fur. This opulent, fleshy and spicy prefers strong and beautiful roasted meats or game roast poultry feathers will far prefer.

Given its presence, it may be associated with intense cheese flavor as Epoisse the Florentine saint but also cîteaux.
